On invitation, Chamber Music Performance Group from music department, School of Arts , RUC, paid a visit to Academy of Music , University of Colorado at Boulder , giving lectures and performance, under the lead of Professor Zhao Fang, associate dean of School of Arts , RUC. The performance returned recently, with a lot of praises from America .
 
University of Colorado has built for 134 years with more than 10 Nobel Laureates in its history. Boulder Academy of Music was famous for world-class top chamber music: Takacs String Quartet Combination.
 
On the first day, chamber music performance group from RUC gave a concert with strong Chinese character to teachers and students in Boulder , which won passionate applauses. On the second day, the students of performance group, RUC associated with concertino of Boulder Academy of Music performed a concert. Professor Zhao Fang gave an introduction and a lecture about character, statement and development of Chinese music.
 
During the visit, the world’s opera masterpiece Don Giovanni put on the stage in Boulder , whose chief actor is Wu Wei, graduating from School of Arts , RUC in 2005.
 
In the period, Professor Zhao Fang had a further discussion with dean of Boulder Academy of Music about different kinds of management affairs, with participation of all the members of Boulder School Board.
